Antonella talks abouts some of her future aspirations.

Q-”Were you approached to pose in Playboy?”
A-”I heard about it but I was never approached. ”

Q-”Would you do it?”
A-”No. Right now I want to look at all the offers I get and sort out what’s best for me right now. I’m definitely not opposed to acting or modeling or something. I would definitely do pop music, but I would add my style to it – you know, a little R&B-ish pop music, maybe bluesy, jazzy.”

So last night was Antonella’s last night on American Idol. It looks like it may be in her best interest to have another career path in mind. The fact remains that she is by far the most popular American Idol of the season - if not ever.

Some people are saying that she should give Playboy a try.

“Girls Gone Wild” founder and CEO Joe Francis said in a news release on Wednesday that he will offer Barba $250,000 to become a host for his video company.

I wonder if she is any good at acting? Maybe she should try visiting Hollywood. That’s what I would do.

Last night, Antonella sang “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae. I think this performance was better than the last.

It was kind of interesting in that Simon finally acknowledged her presence in the media.  He said, “I feel for you because you’ve taken a lot of stick in the media”, almost as if that is a problem for her. I am not actually sure that media is a problem for her. It is definitely increasing her popularity. Some even say, “Any media is good media”.

I was wondering what America would think with all the funny press and all (she is even on the TV news). I am glad she is through to next week. Maybe she will pick a song that is a little better for her.

Ms. Barba sang “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion last night. The judges are still thinking that she is not among the best. I thought that the performance was better than her Aerosmith cover of “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”. We will see if she pulls through tonight.

Simon said that he would be surprised if she lasts. She made it through for another week. Hopefully she will come out with a better performance.

Antonella sang “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” last night by Aerosmith. The judges seem to think that she has some work to do.

I was wondering if she would make it when she was in the judge room with Marisa Rhodes (I was suprised she did not get to the final 12 with Antonella).

Anyway, I am looking forward to watching Antonella progress.
